Narrative

Program provides publications and custom designed training programs that enable consumers and service providers to find services and products that promote independence. Consumer pays for products. They take orders by mail, phone, fax and Internet. Training program covers subject matter that includes descriptions of conditions and the disabilities they cause, how to locate services and equipment, starting self-help groups, making maximum use of governmental programs, and more. Multidisciplinary faculty consists of rehab professionals, health care providers, counselors, and special educators. Works with service providers to design a program to meet needs. Fee involved.
