Effective July 1, 2018, consumers who receive supports under the MassHealth PCA program have a new website sponsored by the PCA Workforce Council to find and hire PCAs. The new website is: www.masspcadirectory.org

Who can use www.RewardingWork.org?

  • People who receive Massachusetts DDS funding (free with access code)
  • People who receive a combination of DDS and MassHealth funding
  • People who are paid subscribers
  • Agencies seeking workers
  • Caregivers seeking work

 If you have an access code from DDS (Department of Developmental Services), you may obtain free access to the list of available candidates.  https://www.rewardingwork.org/en/State-Resources/Massachusetts/How-it-works

Rewarding Work Resources, Inc., a nonprofit organization, provides a self-directed Web-based service at www.rewardingwork.org to connect elders, people with disabilities, and families with caregivers, including respite care, personal care and direct care workers. Individuals and families can search Rewarding Work's database of workers to find candidates who live near them and meet their needs, and may also post their positions on Rewarding Work's Job Board, which is free of charge to RW subscribers. Job  postings run for 30 days, and worker responses are delivered automatically and confidentially by email .

 

Rewarding Work also operates in  Connecticut, Kansas, Rhode Island and Vermont. Information - including link to free MA CORI form, and free tips about hiring caregiviers - is available on website.
