Narrative

Samaritans’ SafePlace meetings are open groups of caring people who have lost a loved one to suicide. SafePlace peer support groups for suicide loss survivors are run by trained volunteers who have also lost a loved one to suicide. SafePlace is not a professional group. It is a peer support group. It is a place for exploring feelings often not understood by others. It offers a chance to share helpful resources. People can give and get support through the steps of grieving. Meetings are free but registration is necessary.
