Shared Living Providers welcome adults with developmental disabilities into their homes and lives, ensuring the stability, safety, health, and welfare of those individuals under their care.
The Shared Living Program offers individuals with disabilities an opportunity to live in the community within a family-like setting. These living arrangements offer supervision, while allowing the individual community opportunities for social and recreational involvement. Such living arrangements also ensure stability, safety, heath, and personal welfare, which are all important in the lives of individuals with disabilities.
