Narrative

At Solstice Day School, we use a strong, fully accredited academic curriculum with a trauma-informed, therapeutic model of care for students in grades 7 through 12 who have learning, mental health or behavioral health issues.

We help students:

• form a strong sense of self
• build their academic abilities
• apply healthy coping strategies
• gain the skills needed for college and career readiness

With small class sizes and a student-teacher ratio of 8:1, our highly qualified and clinically supported staff is able to provide highly differentiated and individualized instruction.  We can meet the needs of each student as outlined in their individualized educational plan (IEP). Clinicians and allied health staff work closely with teachers, parents, and community providers to ensure the highest quality education and trauma-informed care in a setting that promotes safety and healing for students.

Our students come from school districts within 100 miles of our Rowley campus, including Essex County, upper Merrimack Valley and across the North Shore.
