Narrative

The South Coastal Family Support Center connects families of children and adults with developmental disabilities (DD) in the Massachusetts South Shore area. We help them find the resources and
opportunities they need to thrive. Advocates believes that the families we support are the best experts on their lives. We work in partnership with each family. We make supports specific to their needs, goals, and wishes.

We host family events, social groups, and recreational activities through the Center. We build a strong, welcoming community. We lso recognize the value of shared experiences, insights, and information. We work to provide a variety of opportunities for families and people to make lasting and meaningful connections with each other.

Programs take place at our Randolph location or at various accessible sites in
the South Shore community and include:
     • Workshops and Trainings
     • Case Management
     • Information & Referral

Group Respite in the Community

We offer three-hour respite sessions with fun, enriching activities at various locations in the MetroWest area. Activities and events may include socializing with peers, bowling, mini-golf, cooking groups, spending time at the mall, arts and crafts, attending community events, and more.
