Narrative

Spaulding Adaptive Sports Centers support people of all abilities. They can lead active, healthy lives through participation in adaptive sports and recreational activities.

Adaptive Sports Centers in: Boston, Salem and Cape Cod - Offer spot activity in MA, NH, VT, ME, RI, UT and CO.  Our newest service is an array of live virtual fitness and yoga programming.

At these Centers, people living with disabilities play wheelchair tennis, hand cycle, kayak or paddle in adaptive boats, mountain bike, play sled hockey and engage in a number of other activities. They learn new life skills, make new friends and enjoy themselves as they rebuild their strength, gain a sense of independence and self-confidence.  Want to be part of a competitive team?  We have both adult and youth sled hockey teams looking for players.

The programs are offered under the supervision of Spaulding clinicians and adaptive sports professionals. Programs are open to children and adults.  Staff members help each person find the best activities to meet their capabilities. We help them Find Their Strength.
