Narrative

SPaN is primarly a membership organization whose constitutents are attorneys and special education lay advocates.  As an organization, SPaN seeks to promote special education advocacy as a profession with standards of practice, and provides training to its members on issues related to special education and the practice of special education advocacy.

In addition, SPaN provides for public access to a list of special education advocates who are in private practice.
