Narrative

The Aspire Health Alliance Step One team includes:

• developmental teachers
• speech pathologists
• social workers
• licensed mental health counselors
• teaching assistants
• nurses
• physical, occupational, and music therapists

Working together with parents and outside care professionals, the team conducts developmental assessments, makes individual family service plans, and offers developmental and therapeutic intervention and ongoing education and support. We work to enable families to best meet the needs of their children.

Step One Early Intervention provides services in the child’s home, our learning center, and in community settings, such as childcare centers, local libraries, and playgrounds.

At our learning center, group services are offered, including parent-baby and parent-toddler Families can meet each week to support their child’s play, social-emotional interactions, and overall development. They get support from each other and their group leader.
