Narrative
Saint Francis Adult Day Health Program is dedicated to providing a service, which enables elders and impaired adults to remain in the community, for as long as feasible. The purpose of Saint Francis Adult Day Health Program shall be:

To provide daytime care for adults who are functionally, emotionally, and/or cognitively impaired (including Alzheimer’s Disease, or related dementia, Parkinson’s Disease, Stroke, Heart Disease, Macular Degeneration/Blindness and other impairments.)

To provide respite for families caring for adults.

To provide family support and supportive counseling to families with adult persons in their care.

To provide referrals to community resources and educational opportunities for caregivers through agencies offering caregiver support for in home care management of their loved one (including Alzheimer’s /dementia care).

To provide a center where students may receive training in working with seniors.

To delay premature institutionalization.
