Reading the news, providing community access, & more for the blind and low vision community.
The Talking Information Center (TIC) is a radio reading service dedicated to the blind, visually impaired and otherwise print-impaired population of Massachusetts and beyond. Each week, approximately 200 volunteers enter our Marshfield studio to record programming from a wide variety of print-based sources. National and local newspapers, along with current affairs publications, consumer information, and community-based announcements comprise the bulk of our programming that runs 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
