Narrative

CCC offers the following special educational programming: Early Intervention, Integrated Preschool, Elementary/Middle School,  Pre-vocational/Vocational, After School, and summer programming. Language and communication development is emphasized throughout all aspects of a student's day. Academics are aligned with the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks incorporating the Common Core State Standards.

CCC utilizes a variety of communication strategies for teaching and learning using the students'  primary mode of communication; English (verbal and written), sign supported English, low to high tech Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) including but not limited to: PECS, PODD, speech generating devices, iTechnology, or eye gaze devices.  Programming is individualized to assist all students to develop independent communication skills.  Methods of instruction make extensive use of visual, tactile, vocal, and auditory support & direct experiences.

CCC is a therapeutic setting and offers the following services: speech and language, OT, PT, BCBA, counseling, APE, and nursing.  Additionally, enrichment activities include: art, music, and specialty school-wide events.
