Narrative

The Intensive Flexible Family Support (IFFS) Program assists children ages 3 – 18 whose communication and behavior challenges make it difficult for the family to give care. The goal of the program is to keep the child in his or her familiar setting rather than being placed in a residential program.

The DESE/DDS Program is designed to provide in-home and community-based therapeutic support to students ages 6 to 22. They demonstrate the highest need for services to prevent an out-of-home placement.

Funding for this Program is subject to an annual legislative appropriation from the state budget.
