Narrative

The Learning Program Boston (LPB) is an educational program for children with a primary diagnosis of Down syndrome.

Our 2025-2026 program includes 9 monthly, online, parent sessions and two in-person Curriculum Days. Parent sessions are 90-minute workshops, which include a teaching portion and time for questions. The teaching component of all online sessions will be recorded to allow for asynchronous learning. Workshops cover academic topics and instructional strategies, resources and activities to help you work with your child. They build upon each other in succession so it is best if you are able to attend all sessions, either in person or virtually. Families select an academic level (Level 1 and Level 2/3), appropriate for where their child is developmentally. We encourage you to primarily attend the level you are registered for however you have the option to attend any leveled workshop.
