The VTA provides year-round public transit service to the six towns of Martha's Vineyard: Aquinnah, Chilmark, Edgartown, Oak Bluffs, Tisbury and West Tisbury. The VTA's transportation services consist of both fixed route and paratransit services (known as the "Lift").

The Medivan is medical transportation to Boston provided to senior and disabled persons. To be eligible you must be 60 years of age or older and/or disabled. If you are under 60 with a disability you would need to provide documentation from your Health Care Provider.  Persons who do not qualify under these criteria may qualify for standby status and can call the VTA the day before to find out if space is available.
