Narrative

A therapeutic mentor works one-on-one with a child or teen. Because of their behavioral-health needs, they need support and coaching to learn social skills. They can learn better ways to talk to and get along with others. Services are used in any setting where the youth lives It can be in the home (including foster homes and therapeutic foster homes), and in other community settings. Settings can be:

• other culturally and linguistically appropriate community settings
