Narrative

THE FARM is a non profit organization that provides therapeutic equestrian programs to individuals with disabilities. THE FARM has been certified as a Premier Accredited Riding Center by the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship (PATH). It signifies that we meet the rigorous standards necessary to provide excellent therapeutic programs. Horseback riding is a well established therapy for numerous conditions including autism, learning disabilities, multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy and a variety of many other disabilities. Among the many benefits associated with therapeutic riding are improved balance, flexibility, strength and control of the body. It also helps increase confidence, self esteem and enhances cognitive and emotional skill.

Our fees are $40 per 1/2 hour lesson. We do not accept insurance payments but will provide the proper receipts for the client to submit to their insurance company.

Currently we do have a wait list for programs on the weekends and weekday afternoons after 3:00. There are lesson slots available Tuesday - Friday 9:00 - 2:30.
