Provides door to door transportation under MBTA contract for the RIDE program in the SW Satellite area. Customers must pre-qualify with the RIDE program at the MBTA, Office for Transportation Access 1-800-533-6282. Transportation is subsidized. Serves disabled. Area Served: Framingham, Natick, Wellesley, Needham, Dover, Canton, Dedham, Medfield, Norwood, Sharon, Walpole , Westwood & Boston. No age or income restrictions.
With over 30 years of RIDE experience, the National Express Transit offers its customers in the MBTA South service area a combination of experience, local knowledge, professionalism and a proven record of quality service to its passengers.
From our Boston headquarters, the National Express Transit operates a fleet of over 200 RIDE-dedicated vehicles, driven by trained and qualified drivers. Daily we provide over 1800 trips for our customers, taking them to and from medical appointments, day programs, educational facilities, work, and social events. We provide the RIDE service with both lift-equipped wheelchair vans, and full-size Ford sedans. All of our vehicles are outfitted with state-of-the-art communications electronics, including Mobile Data Computers, Automatic Vehicle Location (GPS) systems and two-way radios.
To better serve our customers in the Southwest Service Area of the RIDE, we also maintain vehicle garages in Framingham and Norwood. Our three locations help us ensure that our customers receive top-quality service, on-time and safely.
