Narrative

CAST (Center for Applied Special Technology) conducts research and development around universal design for learning. The basic premise of universal design for learning is that a curriculum should have flexible ways and materials to make it accessible and applicable to learners with different backgrounds, learning styles, abilities, and disabilities in widely varied learning. Universally designed materials offer students multiple options for expression and action. Center for Applied Special Technology provides training in Universal Design for Learning for teaching professionals.
