Narrative
UMass Extension Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program provides nutrition education to low income families with young children. Community based EFNEP nutrition educators teach groups and high-risk individuals. No charge but limited to income eligible families. Participants gain knowledge AND skills needed to plan low-cost nutritious meals, prepare food safely and manage food resources.
