Narrative

VISIONS provides both Individual and Group Supported Work Training within local industry and businesses. Vocational Counseling and Job Development are integral program services. VISIONS is staffed by on-site Job Trainers, Training Assistants and a credentialed Counselor.

The VISIONS Program (Vocational, Instructional, and Supported Industrial Opportunities with Natural Supports) provides Supported Employment services to DDS individuals ages 22 and older. It supports and assists individuals with community work placement. It also provides individuals with vocational counseling, vocational interest surveys, vocational training and additional social experiences through a recreation program.

Participants are provided with the opportunity for real-life transitional plans, paid vocational opportunities , skill development/ enhancement, job development and placement.
