Narrative

The Westfield Athenaeum offers classes in English Sign Language, Adult basic education, General Equivalency Diploma and Pre-General Equivalency Diploma; as well as computer classes including Word, Internet, and Electronic-mail.  The library also partners with the Westfield Family Support Network. Public computers are available.  We have large-type books, audio books and closed caption DVDs.

The children's library offers activities for children pre-school to teens - including story hours, play groups, book discussion groups, craft activities, movies and teen game times.  Children's librarian is Dan Paquette at 413-562-6158.

Homebound Service - You must be a Westfield resident who is temporarily or permanently confined to your home because of illness, disability or advanced age. For more information contact Joyce Peregrin, Public Services Librarian, at 413-568-7833.
